What is NVIDIA Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin?
NVIDIA Aerial™ Omniverse Digital Twin is a collection of frameworks and software tools for next-generation digital twins, to allow cutting edge research and development of 5G and 6G wireless systems.
Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin enables physically accurate simulations of complete 5G and 6G systems, from a single tower to city scale. It incorporates software-defined radio access network (RAN) and user-equipment simulators, along with realistic terrain and object properties. Using the Omniverse Aerial Digital Twin, researchers will be able to simulate and build base-station algorithms based on site-specific data and train models in real time to improve transmission efficiency.
What is in this Collection?
v1.5.0 and after
- Aerial Omniverse DT GitHub Repository: GitHub: https://github.com/NVIDIA/aerial-omniverse-digital-twin. This repository contains the Client, Viewer and worker startup scripts, to configure, run, and visualize Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin simulations.
- Aerial Omniverse DT SIM Runtime Container: this image contains the worker needed by the Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin to perform radio environment and network simulations.
- Aerial Omniverse DT GIS Runtime Container: this image contains the pipelines necessary to take CityGML and OSM geospatial data and create OpenUSD scenes that the DT SIM worker can operate on.
- Aerial Omniverse DT SIM Source: this is the source code for the Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin. It comes with the build environment necessary to create custom docker runtime images.
- Aerial Omniverse DT SIM Source without ACAR: this is the source code for the Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin (without ACAR). It comes with the build environment necessary to create custom docker runtime images.
- Aerial Omniverse DT Assets: sample scenarios for the evaluation of the simulation platform.
