Resources for DOCA Telemetry Service

  • Overview

This resource provides the Kubernetes Pod manifest (doca_telemetry.yaml) used to deploy the DOCA Telemetry Service (DTS) on a BlueField DPU. It is picked up directly by kubelet - no Kubernetes API server is required, and is the same manifest baked into the BFB image by default. It is published here so it can also be downloaded and customized independently.

Purpose: configure and launch the DTS container on a BlueField DPU: which telemetry providers to collect from and how to export the collected data.

Use case: replace or extend the DTS container configuration shipped in the BFB image - e.g. to pin a specific DTS container version by downloading this yaml, editing it, and copying it to /etc/kubelet.d on the DPU.

System requirements: a BlueField DPU running a kubelet-enabled BFB image, and a DTS container image compatible with the manifest's image: tag. See the DOCA Container Deployment Guide for prerequisites.
