NVIDIA CloudXR SDK

NVIDIA CloudXR™ is a GPU-accelerated XR streaming platform that enables high-fidelity XR experiences to be streamed from powerful servers to lightweight client devices over standard networks. CloudXR decouples rendering from display—servers do the heavy computation while clients receive video and send tracking data.

Key Components

The SDK consists of several core components designed to handle different parts of the streaming pipeline:

• CloudXR Runtime: An OpenXR-compliant server component that handles video encoding, audio streaming, input processing, and foveated rendering.
• CloudXR Framework: Libraries for building high-performance Apple clients for visionOS and iOS.
• CloudXR.js: A web-based client SDK for building XR applications that run in browsers on devices like Meta Quest and Pico.
• CloudXR Stream Manager: An optional Windows-based service used to orchestrate and manage CloudXR Runtime instances and client connections.
