Government Ready and Air Gap Deployments

PB6 expands support for highly regulated environments.

With the release of Production Branch 6, all containerized software in the production branch collection satisfy government ready requirements. The cuVS binary is also government ready.

Additionally, designated software within the PB6 collection now enables "Air Gap Ready" deployments through secure standard configuration options, supporting a Zero-Trust model for restricted network environments.

How to Identify a Government Ready Image:

To use this specific hardened image, navigate to the repository's Tags tab and look for the purple label indicating Gov ready displayed alongside the tag.

What "Gov ready" means:

This ensures the highest level of security for regulated environments, the x86 container image for this branch is:

  • STIG Ubuntu 24.04 hardened
  • Supports FIPS 140-2 / 3 validated crypto / uses libraries that support FIPS crypto

Compatible Infrastructure Software Versions

For the optimized performance, it is highly recommended to deploy the supported NVIDIA AI Enterprise Infrastructure software in conjunction with your AI software.

Production Branch 6 (PB6) is compatible with NVIDIA AI Enterprise Infrastructure 8.

Getting Started with Production Branches

Before you start, ensure that your environment is set up by following one of the deployment guides available in the NVIDIA AI Enterprise Documentation and review the Production Branch release notes.

Other NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software Branches

In addition to Production Branches, NVIDIA AI Enterprise offers two other distinct branches of AI software, each providing different levels of support and use cases:

  • Feature Branches (FB): The software branches include the latest versions of NVIDIA AI frameworks, pretrained models, and SDKs that release every month.
  • Long-Term Support Branches (LTSB): The software branches include selected AI frameworks and SDKs and provide a 30-month lifecycle with API stability and 12 quarterly patches for high and critical software vulnerabilities.
